Offender: Candidate with a Serial Harassment Issue
Details: A Senior Manager at a consulting firm only likes to hire a certain ‘type’ for his team. These young and pretty employees are then involved in projects that typically require them to travel overseas for at least a week. During the day time, work is done. During the night time, the Senior Manager insists on ‘getting to know each other better’ by relaxing at the hotel bar. First come the flattering verbal comments on his subordinates’ appearances, and soon he will be trying his luck with physical attempts of sexual harassment. Complaints were soon filed with HR and the Management. This Senior Manager had no choice but to leave the company. Through an Employment Check, Verity Intelligence found out that this was not the 1st case for this candidate when it comes to sexual harassment. Other previous companies that he worked in also had such incidences noted in their HR records.
